Interim Communication Services

Losing a key communication staff member for a period of time is always hard on an organization. Whether it is caused by a person departing for a new position or someone leaving for an extended absence of two weeks or more for other reasons, the work must still be done. Communication projects don’t stop — especially those that involve regular publications such as magazines, newsletters, and e-publications. Often the person also plays a crucial management/leadership role in the organization, leaving a temporary void in that area was well.

However, there are answers to these challenges. Hiring an experienced communication executive for a interim assignment can not only fill a much-needed gap in services and/or leadership, it can also provide value-added benefits.

  • A written communication report at the end of the interim assignment evaluating any or all of the following:
    • Overall effectiveness of the communication program

    • Publishing program, including electronic and print publications (content, quality of writing and design, ad sales program, workflow, etc.)
    • External publishing services (publishing partners, printer, designer, external ad sales reps, etc.)
    • Communication staff size and structure
  • Assistance in the transition process to the new communication executive in any way required

Hire an executive for any number of weeks you may require for a flat weekly fee that we agree on. The person can work in your office for up to three days per week and provide additional services remotely from our offices.
